We work on the intersection of information retrieval, artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. In particular, we focus on all aspects of recommendation, user modelling and personalisation. We are part of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Helsinki.

The EU Commission have agreed to fund our Erasmus+ project Teaching Resilience and Environmental Democracy. Consortium partners include University of Leiden, University of Bologna, Complutense University of Madrid, University of Helsinki and the Roosevelt Institute for American Studies.
